I am a Data Architect at Wix, focused on data infrastructure, security, compliance, platform tooling, and cost control.

The useful work is usually behind the bill.

I have spent more than a decade around shared data infrastructure: Trino, Spark, Iceberg, Airflow, S3, metadata systems, secure data lake design, and internal tools used by engineers and analysts.

The theme running through most of my writing is simple: platform cost is rarely just cost. It is ownership, reliability, governance, and the quality of the feedback loops around them.
